I am a fast working perfectionist with a critical eye. I like to be kept busy with editing and proofreading any kind of copy and I love taking on new challenges; a hands-on, pro-active 'doer' with the confidence to take myself out of my professional comfort zone for clients who want to try alternative projects.

I am a native English speaker, educated in England to Honours Degree level. I have a wealth of experience in research, writing, and editing, as well as being a fast, accurate typist. I have completed a few website edits to improve SEO quality, along with improving the narrative on blogs and online news articles; however, my passion is working on academic papers, research documents and anything to do with criminology and criminal justice theory.

My eye for detail is keen and usually gets in the way when reading for pleasure! As a result of my inability to ignore errors, I now have extensive experience in proofreading and editing professionally. I have been increasingly sought for work over the years on an ad hoc basis and I now find myself mostly working as a proof-reader and content editor.
