About me

Birmingham (Midlands, UK) based Managing Director. I have over 10 years of experience in SEO & digital marketing, specialising in Magento eCommerce, WordPress & Joomla web design/development.

I have a BEng (Hons) degree in Software Engineering. Over the years I have worked as a web developer, business/IT strategy consultant and Enterprise Architect at multinational consulting corporations Capgemini and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), prior to establishing Opace Ltd.

Opace is a family-run agency that I founded in 2008 and specialises in digital marketing and open source web development, working with clients large and small, around the West Midlands, UK and globally.

Having run my own business for the last 8 years I understand the challenges that business owners face. We’ve supported a large number of local businesses, charities, eCommerce stores and global organisations achieve amazing growth through organic page 1 Google rankings and ROI-driven marketing strategies.

Technical expertise includes open source web design and development. We specialise in open source because we believe in its principles as well as its projects and we like to think that we work in a bit of an open source way – offering help and advice through our website, social media and free training events. Platforms we specialise in include WordPress, Magento eCommerce and Joomla. We like to evolve and add new service offerings when we we’re convinced that they were relevant and worthwhile, so we have added SEO copywrting, PR, PPC (AdWords, Bing and Facebook), content marketing and social media management, to complement our more traditional organic SEO and online marketing activities.
