About me

I began my freelance work in July 2013 and since then, I have met some interesting and amazing clients, and have had the opportunity to work on some brilliant and sometimes quite challenging projects.

I have over 30 years' experience in administration and have been fortunate to have worked in various industries, including:

- Legal (inc. clinical negligence)

I have a distinction graded qualification in proofreading from The Publishing Training Centre and am qualified to an A grade standard in English. I have speed-reading skills and am an audio touch typist, averaging 70-80 words per minute.

My main areas of work are in proofreading and transcription. I have transcribed all kinds of audio, ranging from disciplinaries, interviews, reports, and media programmes. Similarly, my work in proofreading includes presentations, reports, company documentation, dissertations and fiction/non-fiction publications.

I maintain the strictest confidentiality in every aspect of my work and am happy to sign an NDA in advance of the work commencing.
