Trademark searches for a UK or EU trademark application

This offer will include:
- checking to see whether your brand, logo or name fits the criteria to be legally registerable
- searching to identify trademarks which are the same as, or similar to, other trademarks in the UK or the EU
- identify the appropriate classes for your trademark application

This is a very useful service, for the following reasons:
- not all trademarks can be registered - the name or logo must fit certain criteria
- if a trademark already exists which is similar to, or the same as, your trademark, your application may be resisted by existing trademark owners
- application fees for trademark applications are non-refundable
- best to do this at the outset, so you don't have to rebrand later, if you find someone else has registered something similar before you. A rebrand can be very expensive in terms of costs (new domain name, all your digital and non-digital items need changing), time and loss of reputation gained in the name you previously used. Just doing Google searches and seeing what comes up will not always assist you. Professional trademark searches might reveal registrations that have not been used as a brand yet, so would not be revealed by online searches.
