Since April 2019, I have worked full time as a professional British voice over artist and voice actor. Audiobooks have become my speciality and my ratings across Audible currently average 4.7 out of 5.
I have a clear, versatile and compelling voice for the narration of a wide range of audiobooks of different genres. In my professionally equipped home recording studio, based in the North of England, I am able to deploy extensive voice acting skills using a diverse range of character voices and accents where necessary and my storytelling ability will bring your writing to life with just the right blend of drama, tone and pace.
Where dialogue takes place in the book, I place great emphasis on giving every speaking character it's own personality as well as its own distinctive voice with accent as appropriate. Yet I am also able to adapt my delivery to non-fiction, by adopting a reassuring, authoritative and inspiring voice where appropriate for different emphasis.
During the production process, you will be able to listen to each chapter or section in turn, and this will give you the opportunity to be involved and to request any corrections where necessary.
The price quoted for this offer buys you up to one finished hour of content from your book's manuscript. If your book is more than one hour's duration, then please refer to the add-ons below where I have provided additional finished-hour prices. We will need to discuss and negotiate a timescale for the completion of your complete book. This finished hour of narration will be delivered within 5 days, fully edited and mastered to Audible's (ACX's) standards. One finished hour will take me around 7 - 8 hours in total to complete.
